Lake Georgetown is nice but Cindy & I were the only ones camping for the Harvestfest last year. Sorry about the last post...pushed send. I think Kelly lives south of Houston and I can understand why he is worried about going to both shows. That is a lot of driving back and forth for two weekends in a row. My two cents are do the T@P show and if you don't like it, and I don't know why you wouldn't, then go to the Harvest show next year not go to T@P next year. I am now working again and hope to have the weekend off for T@P this year. I have been to all but one and it is the best three days of doing absolutly nothing that I know of...ha ha. We're thinking about taking the week off and doing the harvest, taking the bus to the alamo, sea world, etc then to T@P Thurs! -----Original Message----- From: James Dwan <james_dwan_2000@xxxxxxxxx> To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Fri, Jul 15, 2011 10:09 am Subject: [tcb] Re: Which Event Would You Choose? I've never been to the Harvest but have been to 6 Transporters campouts. I'm doing both because there is no way I'd miss TPP. --- On Fri, 7/15/11, Eric Woodall <ericthomaswoodall@xxxxxxx> wrote: From: Eric Woodall <ericthomaswoodall@xxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: Which Event Would You Choose? Do both. :-D On Jul 15, 2011, at 9:38 AM, Gary Alexander <garypalexander@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: My advice, Do both...it's Fall in Texas.... pay off for all these 100degree days in a row we are having now! The Harvest show is in a really nice county park on Sunday Oct 2. Saturday is a VW cruise to Top Notch Drive In which was in Dazed and Confused and they will be showing a movie that night too, it'll be a drive-in and the drive in. And Sunday, the Harvest Show is Free with lots of fun things to do. And camping at Lake Georgetown is very nice , one of the cleanest, nicest campgrounds I have stayed at. And Transporters is beyond awesome so why limit yourself!!! The campground looks really nice, the show is indoors and then they all go to the drive-in burger joint that was in the movie Dazed and Confused. But then Transporters at The Point is 5 days later! I can't do both. I've never been to either one. Which one sounds best?
