Here's and idea.

About 10 years ago I got a county ticket somewhere up there East Texas on 59.
I later sent in a check to the county head knocker for the driver defense
training thingy, and I guess the county head knocker guy sends my check and
form on to the state for processing; I dunno.

During that interim time period, and after waiting about a week so as to
maybe time properly, I put a stop payment on the check, and the whole
process, my check, and all, got lost in "their" system.

I have renewed my driver's license twice since then, as I calculate, so the
whole collection of 8 X 10 color glossy photographs with diagrams and notes
and everything seems to remain lost in their system.
