Welcome everyone. Julie's 71 has an outstanding paint job, you can't miss it. Are your kids still driving it to prom? I met Julie through the aircoolers here in Austin. I thought someone was taking something off the back of my bus, but it turned out she was measuring emblem location for her restoration. Welcome again, when is the 66 going to be ready? My 66 is a 21 window and I'm trying to restore it to like new stock perfection as best as I can. It is not running yet but it sure does look pretty. My 71 is covered in all sorts of art. It runs well but needs interior work and it is now and will always continue to be not stock. They are affectionately know as Donner (71) and Blitzen (66) - good German names that capture their yin/yang personalities. I live just south of Austin and have twins that are high school seniors that will both be going off to college in New York in the fall.
