I think that it is the wrong shade of grey. The original German
formula used tints made from the scales of a fish found only in caves in the
Southern
Bavarian village of Sdorchzl om Fhlosm. The town was bombed into a thin grey
powder in the war, but existing supplies were used into the late 60s.
