[TapeVille] new to list

Hi ken here am already on the NVDA list here on freelists.org and just now
subscribed here from the october braille monitor. won’t worry about digest if
it’s available until I get an idea of how much traffic there is. anyway
looking forward to it. now first question. the only tape player I have is on
a stereo I have mainly for it’s turntable and it has one major issue the only
button of any kind it has is to eject I can’t even forward or rewind so really
don’t use it much so what kind of devices are available that can be used to
convert tapes to digital format, and to add to it, some of my older cassettes
have a nasty squeek when running through a machine. is there any way to fix
that since this is a macanical issue with the cassettes themselves?
