Yes, no, and maybe. How do ya like that for confusion. Actually, the key is just giving you access with speech to the network. But, the pc on which you are using the key and working from needs to have cd burning capabilities. You can make a hardware key from the System Access menu itself, but my understanding is, that you actually have to log into the Network itself to burn a passkey.
