Hit control-m for format, and change the sample rate before saving.

Resample Rate changed its operation
I am a happy studio recorder user: Or at least I was last winter. With one thing and another I haven't made a recording with the program since about April. April was about two updates and uncounted numbers of Bets ago.
Last winter I could make a recording at 44100 KHZ and by changing the sample rate to 22050 khz drop the pitch by one half. I am beginning my bible projectg this winter and Having some recordings I wish to test, I tried this.
It no longer works. When I change the sample rate, the pitch remains the same.
Does the program still allow the functionality where a change in sample rate can also change the pitch?
When I get the bible on record, I intend to record at 88200 KHZ and reduce to 44100 khz which will best allow me to use what noise reduction software will work.
Thanks!
Also if people out there are still recording talking books, the sample rate and pitch change was quite useful. You can record a four-track tape on a commercial recorder and by redusing the sample rate and reversing chanels get all four tracks clean in much less time thatn it would take using a track by track recording.
