Science Knowledge Quiz
Today's site, from the Pew Research Center, offers the opportunity to discover
personal science literacy on a very modest scale. Gentle Subscribers will find
a simple quiz on a varied range of science subjects but one which will try to
determine their knowledge of basic science facts.
"How much do you know about science topics? ... Test your knowledge of science
facts and applications of scientific principles by taking our short 12-question
quiz. Then see how you did in comparison with a nationally representative group
of 3,278 randomly selected U.S. adults surveyed online and by mail ... When you
finish, you will be able to compare your scores with the average American and
compare responses across demographic groups."- from the website
This easy to take science quiz consists of multiple choice answers to essential
science subjects. Requiring only a few minutes to complete, the test provides
an uncomplicated way to measure some of the important aspects of scientific
knowledge. The results are presented immediately upon the quiz's completion and
are highlighted in a graphic display. In addition, a detailed report discussing
