inspiring! Of course if he loses the little sight he still has, the
challenges will increase especially because of lack of numerous
electronic innovations such as those we read about in the article

as blind students we face so many hurdles from school fees to lack of
facilities and the biggest of them all; lack of support and
encouragement. but all in all I think we are a strong bunch and most
of us try our best to elevate the expectations of the blind...

We also have our very own at the University of Nairobi. He is studying
medicine!
The gentleman (I'm ashamed I've forgotten his name), has no vision at
all in one eye and very limited vision in the other. He is registered
with the NCPWD as a PWD.
I met him last year and he says he may soon have no vision at all.
Currently he can read some print albeit with some strain.
He has some very intriguing experiences to share; seek him out!
