Re: [soapcraft] Re: Next ProjectNo - I want to see the natural colour and see
if it has a fragrance of its own.

So you are not going to add any additional fragrance?

Me too, by all accounts it's meant to mellow out to a light hops scent - we
will see.

I am curious to know how the beer soap goes and how it influences the scent

    Hi Louise,

Well according the threads on The Dish - soap full of salt!! Makes a very,
very hard bar, great for exfoliating. They apparently need to be cut really
soon otherwise there is no hope as they harden really quickly. It's another
one on my list.

Yesterday I made heaps of soap - the racks are full always a good feeling.
Used a new (secondhand) mould and new (also secondhand) log cutter - haven't
quite got the volume of soap to mould ratio right, but am quite pleased with
how the new equipment performed.

Hoping to try beer soap tomorrow - simmered the beer last night and left in
the fridge overnight to go flat. I'll post a pic when I make it.

    Liz

What's a salt soap? Hope you feel better Ross.

      Hi Ross,

Sorry to hear you are not well, hopefully you have some good potent pain
relief?

As for the soap swap - well I'm easy really. I haven't tried sugar soap,
salt soap, multi coloured soap, layered, (well once), imbeds, (just once) - I'm
happy to go with the majority. Not helpful perhaps - well then I'd like to try
a salt soap most of all.

Take care and all 'get well vibes' being sent your way!

      Liz

      Hi all

Have been MIA wallowing in pain - if anyone wants to volunteer to cut my
gall bladder out with a butter knife I might say " Go for it"

So it seems like a themed soap swap is preferable or at least acceptable
to all that are interested in participating.

Next Step: Let's come up with a theme. I would prefer something very
specific

Once we have a theme, then I will collect names of those interpreted in
participating.
