Hello all, a xorg.log is attached, the installed packages: [slack@setoy temp] $ lf /var/log/packages/glibc-* -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 265K 2006-01-17 20:38 /var/log/packages/glibc-2.3.6-powerpc-3 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2,2K 2006-01-03 12:55 /var/log/packages/glibc-debug-2.3.6-powerpc-2 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 182K 2006-01-03 12:55 /var/log/packages/glibc-i18n-2.3.6-noarch-2 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1,1K 2006-01-03 12:56 /var/log/packages/glibc-profile-2.3.6-powerpc-2 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6,3K 2006-01-17 20:37 /var/log/packages/glibc-solibs-2.3.6-powerpc-3 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 65K 2006-01-03 12:29 /var/log/packages/glibc-zoneinfo-2.3.6-noarch-2 The "history": I use the latest cvs version of emacs compiled with gtk support. After starting it under KDE (clean slackintosh-current), KDE crashes. The i tested it under XFce on my ibook (current with gnome installed) and it also crashes. The i searched for another application and tested fluxbox and it also crashes. After downgrading xorg, all works fine. Question: Have you build xorg after the latest glibc build? In the xorg log, there'se a libc "entry".
