absolutely no, we've build everything without optimization flag, except
for a lonely "-O2", this means (according to "man gcc") that our code
has been compiled as if we would have used -march=powerpc -mtune=powerpc.

Unfortunately, we haven't any oldworld machine to test installations on,
so we provides booting supports only for newworld macs. A good idea
could be to try a slackintosh 8.1 install and upgradepkg from there.
