Hi again, Just an update: now in the system menu I see all the usual
items, but it looks like the main window is maximized already,
although the same message that it is not still comes up.

Maybe somebody had something like this: when I try to navigate the
score, there is a message that the keypad window is colliding with the
taskbar, and that I should optimize the tool windows. When I try to
do that, it says that the main window cannot be maximized and that I
should set focus to the score window and maximize it. That's what I
do, but when I go to the system menu (with alt+space), only item is
restore; no minimize, no maximize. Is there I can do now, or should I
wait for my sighted assistant to come back home?
