1. Do a Windowskey+m to minimize all apps and be on the desktop.
2. Shift+tab to get to the Taskbar.
3. Alt+enter to get to Taskbar and Start Menu properties. You should
be on the first item on the Taskbar page. Three more presses of the
Tab key should get you to the option for where you want the Taskbar
positioned, called Location On Screen. There's a combo box, and the
"Bottom" option is the first item in the box.
4. Tab to the OK button and hit Enter.

P.S. If you and your assistant both have iPhones or iPod Touches, you
can use FaceTime to have h/er look at the computer screen to see if
you can troubleshoot from a distance. My husband and I do the FaceTime
thing for computer troubleshooting, and my Mom and I do it if I need
kitchen help.

Sibelius application (on the screen) and it was obscuring some
Sibelius windows including the main one. My sighted assistant went to
some properties menu in the taskbar and changed "top" to "bottom". I
still don't know how to access that menu yet, but as of nowm, at least
I got it fixed. It's a taskbar thing; not a Sibelius thing. Still,
though, it's good that you shared other options in case it were a
Sibelius issue. Thanks for that.

The most I can come up with after a really quick look at the first few
pages of results is:
Are all of your windows re Sibelius open?
And have you tried reinstalling the registry keys that some with the
scripts?
Sorry can't be of more help.
More Later,

Hi again, Just an update: now in the system menu I see all the usual
items, but it looks like the main window is maximized already,
although the same message that it is not still comes up.

Hi List,If you wish to unsubscribe, send a blank message
Maybe somebody had something like this: when I try to navigate the
score, there is a message that the keypad window is colliding with
the
taskbar, and that I should optimize the tool windows. When I try to
do that, it says that the main window cannot be maximized and that I
should set focus to the score window and maximize it. That's what I
do, but when I go to the system menu (with alt+space), only item is
restore; no minimize, no maximize. Is there I can do now, or should
I
wait for my sighted assistant to come back home?
Thank you.
