Sandra,

In case you don't hook up to Tim, I want you to save the 5.2.5 download to
your hard drive -- don't run it from the internet. I think that's where your
problem lies. It sounds like you still haven't actually installed 5.2.5 to
your computer.

Once you download the file it will very likely drop on your desktop or be in
your Documents folder. Shut down the internet, close Sibelius, and locate
that file. Press Enter on it and follow instructions to install.

Then go back to my message where I suggested recopying the Sibelius Folder
and execute the registry keys. See if that helps.

I'm back. I recopied the Sibelius Software folder into Roaming,
reopened Sibelius from the start menue and got the "plugin is not
working properly" message. I ran test plugin and ended up in a circle.
I would really like to know what I'm doing wrong or whether I should
quit while I'm ahead and take Sibelius back to the shop today. There
can't be too many other things left to try can there? It's a real
shame if I cannot use this wonderful programme. I remember saying more
than once that Sib3 was good enough for me but, as you all know, it
doesn't work with Vista.

All the best,
Sandra.
