Sandra,
This sounds more like a verbosity setting needs to be adjusted in JAWS. Have
you verified that?

Hello Kevin,
Thanks for the suggestion but I was already doing that. Jaws doesn't
tell me anything when I change note values or tie or anything at all
so I have to arrow backwards and forwards or press play to find out
what I've actually done.
