Dale, I'm not sure about this, but is there a verbosity preset you can use that will speak each item's show/hide state, as you navigate? I realize that F5 includes that information for an individual object, but for an entire passage or score no status is spoken. Since the ctrl+shift+s command is now "Save-As instead of the Show,, ctrl+shift+h actually seems to toggle. In a piano score one would usually hide the voice 2 rests. In an odd combination of hiding ALL such rests, then wishing to show a few particular ones, I got quite confused. Would there be a way to show which way the toggle is going, right with the press of ctrl+shift+h? Speech might be something like, "All items hidden", or "all items showing", or "mixed hide and show"? Of course the latter of these three is non-specific, but it would at least alert one to check a small passage.
