Dale and Claudio,

With Dale's pointer I found the relevant section in the Sib 5 reference
manual. Amazing what you can do with time signatures, but not sure we can
use all of them as some may require sighted help. But nonetheless, look
starting on page 155, 2.27 Time signatures

Good stuff.

In the time signature dialog there is a box to check if you want staves to
be in a different time signature from each other.

Claudio,

Look forward to what you find. I could find nothing in the manual to help,
and unfortunately had no time since to try anything myself.

I think that as long as the overall measure length is the same (e.g. 3/4 and

6/8) in terms of absolute time, it could work.

Dear Dale and Dave
Thanks for having joined in on this topic. I haven't had time till now to
dig deep enough, but if I find out, I let you know. Bach of course wasn't
bound to a PC and so he could write whatever he wanted.
Regards
Claudio

Claudio,

First I would expect that you should not use the standard Grand Staff, but
have separate keyboard staves. Then see if you can assign a different time
signature on one stave. This is really interesting, and I wonder how the
internal metronome would handle this.

If I get time, I'll mess around with the concept.
