However, since the third will no longer be part of the chord, you need not
include the indication for it to be minor.

For C minor write simply write cm
For sus 4, just add that in to the chord symbol. For example, a C 7th, sus 4
would be written as: c7sus4

Ramy,

I have found the context menu to be quite a cumbersome, and not
speech-friendly way to input chord symbols.

For what you are needing, simply type the following string into the chord
symbol edit field,
Cmaj7

Let Sibelius take care of the capitalizing.

Dale

Hello all:

i'm writing a bass part, and i need to put the chords above it,
frankly, this is the 1st time to put chords in a profissional way.

i need that i use Control K to creat chord symbole. but if i need to
creat c major seventh.
i do the following:
CTL k, application key and i choose c, then application key again to
choose Maj7.
need to ask if am write or not in these steps, and will it look correct
or
not?

my other question is that, if i need to write a sus chord, must i
write major sus4 or just g Sus4 and the player will undersntad?

to clerify:
If i need to write these notes in chord: c f g.
must i write C major 7 sus or just C sus4.
Thanks
