Subbu and other newbies:

I wrote a column for PCD&M on this topic of "What causes reflections", where
I derive the reflection coefficient. It is available for free download from
my site, www.BeTheSignal.com <http://www.bethesignal.com/> , under the
feature articles and columns heading.

Look for Aug 2003, "what causes reflections"

If you are a newbie and wondering about these sorts of questions, you might
want to browse the other columns I posted. Also get a copy of my book,
Signal Integrity Simplified. These and other similar topics are covered in
my columns, articles, online lectures and the book.

Subject: [SI-LIST] reflection coeficient

Hello all,

I was reading about signal reflections. I do not

understand the formula rho = (zo-zterm)/(z0+zterm)

Could anyone explain it/give some tech article, more

detailed on the basics of reflection

regards

subbu
