There is a whole host of high speed cable assemblies available. One way to
get some options is to call your friendly local connector company reps who
will present you their solutions. You could start with molex, amphenol,
tyco, FCI, ernie and similar. First browse their web catalogs and you will
see what families they offer. If you want custom or semi-custom in small or
large quantity, you could try Samtec. These are all companies I have dealt
with and had good experiences. Look at something like the infiniband cables
as a starting point. With 100s of signals, you probably require a unique
solution or some major cable management solutions too.

Subject: [SI-LIST] inter-cabinet connections

I would welcome any suggestions for cable and connectors suitable for
passing multiple differential signals (several hundred) at around
3Gbit/s between cabinets (say, a few metres).
Best regards,
Stephen
