[SI-LIST] Which is Better Topology.

Hi Gurus,
Which is a better way between the two topologies to terminate a signal by a 
external pullup.

Topology one.
Connecting the Pullup from the receiver Pin as close as possible.

                    -----------
Driver ------------>|Receiver |---Pullup--->Vcc
                    |---------- 


Topology two

The driver sees the Pullup first before connecting to the receiver.

                     Vcc
                     |
                     |
Driver ------------>Pullup----->Receiver

I personally think topology one is a better choice since there is no stub being 
created in routing the pullup where as in topology II there is a stub from the 
Pullup to the receiver.

I would really be thankful if you guys can share ur thoughts on this.
