We've been having some local discussions/debates on which specs should be used for evaluating undershoot/overshoot violations: Absolute Maximum Ratings or Recommended Operating Conditions (assuming they're spec'd differently). Of course our preference is to use dynamic overshoot/undershoot specs when they're available, but often times they are not (particularly for older components). So what are folks thoughts on which should be used for overshoot/undershoot violations, absolute max ratings or recommended operating conditions? (I personally fall into the recommended operating conditions camp). -- Conrad Herse Alcatel-Lucent herse@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 630-979-1688 ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.net List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
