I think that must be placed in critical length.

As you know the critical length is calculated from rise/fall time.

Hi All,
         Can someone tell me about the crude approximation as to how much
close the series terminating Resistor for a device should be placed. The
approximation would of course include the rise time of the driver, its
switching frequency, propagation delay of the trace and logic levels.
