Hello Nikhil,
We just started working on lab characterizing of a SATA 2.0 interface for an
ASIC. The power supply specs for this interface specify the following:
DC Voltage variation on the power supply of +- 5% with as much as +-20%
variation for a period of no more than 10% of the maximum clock rate for this
interface.
I hope this is helpful,
-Jory

Subject: [SI-LIST] SATA 2.0 power spec
Hello,
Does anyone has any experience with SATA 2.0 power spec. I am looking
for how much variation in power does the spec specify. I have the 2.0
official doc and it does not specify that.
Thanks,
Nikhil
