Hi,
We have a bundle with several 2,5 mm^2 TP cables, and I would like to eva=
luate
the impacts of usage with RS-485 networks (transmission line).
Besides length, capacitance of the line, transmission speed and terminati=
on,
I think that Skin Effect can be a issue (since the wires have bigger cros=
s
section area). But I don't know how to evaluate, since Skin Effect will a=
ct
in the higher harmonics.
In this sense, I would like to ask some tips for the evaluation of skin e=
ffect
impacts (signal ringing, overshoot, etc):
- Suggestion of method;
- Simulators;
Thank's for the help,
Eugenio
