Hello to all, My end goal was to perform a frequency based analysis of the power planes in a package model such that I could determine the upper band limit (due to the package) to the system decoupling network. I wanted this package based limit even if it turns out to exceed the upper limit imposed by the system level decoupling capacitors (effective/mounted inductance) for completeness of the PDS spectrum. I was provided with a SPICE model that is essentially lumped with subckts for bumps, balls and vias that are instantiated many times in parallel (e.g. M=736) to account for the number of these structures that are in parallel. I have been using both the .NET and naitive SPICE output statements to look at the S11 and S21 of said model without great success. Before I through in the towel (and come back here to ask what I may be doing wrong) would anyone be willing to send me any low-Z power plane models that are already validated so I can try those in my SPICE test fixture first?
