Subject: [SI-LIST] Off topic -- Electrical Component Abbreviations

Hi all,

I am looking for a listing of commonly used prefixes or abbreviations
for electronic, electrical components for schematics: Q - transistor, K
- relay, C - capacitor.

I believe I've had my hands on an official listing (ANSI?, IEEE?) but
can't seem to locate one now.

If you have a pointer to where I might be able to get a copy I would
appreciate it much.

Regards,
Bill
