Hello Eric,
I used eldo with switches in the hspice netlist - and the result was
comparable.

BTW - here's a more comprehensive study to compare a few simulators. I find
it fascinating.

Here is a poll for simulators as well.

Subject: Hspice vs. Eldo w hspice compatibility mode

Does anyone have any experience using Eldo with hspice compatibility
mode? Does it work well? I'm trying to make a decision between hspice
and eldo and I'd appreciate any feedback some current users could give.

Thanks in advance,

Eric
