Hi,
We use to hot swap our board from the backplane which is fed by -48V supply
from a battery. In the board we are using a isolated 48V to 3.3V DCto DC
converter which is having slow start feature. At the primary section we have
parallel capacitors at the 48v side whose total capacitance = 44uF. At the
secondary side (3.3V side) we have many decaps which is spread over the rails
of 3.3V. My question is how to calculate the inrush current ? What is the
total capacitance of my circuit whether i have to add both the capacitors in
primary side as well as secondary side while calculating for inrush current?
With Regards,
Vijay anand. G
