Hi,
Thank you for all your reply. I shall explore the tools you have mentioned.
Hi Ramani,
We are trying to understand frequency dependency of di-electric constant
and loss tangent from measured S-parameter up to 16G. We know the
di-electric constant of the board but now as a function of frequency. Can
you please elaborate your method of getting this information from S11 and
S12. Does it not involve converting to ABCD matrix?

Hi Vinay,
AtaiTec's ADK extracts material property automatically (see Page 11 of

Vinay,
You can consider using Simbeor and the material properties extraction
process documented in detail on their website.

Hi,material
I am trying to extract loss tangent and dielectric constant of a
from S-parameter. I found an IEEE paper on internet which says that Ifirst
need to convert S-parameter to ABCD matrix and then they have given someZ
formulas to extract material properties. PowerSI gives me only S, Y and
parameters. Is there any other tools or is there any other procedure toget
material properties from S-parameter. I have formulas to convert
S-parameter to ABCD parameter but I am thinking of some tool which does
this calculations. Thank you for your help.
