Both are very good tools. Don't forget Agilent has resurrected
their EM software and call it EMDS. There are also others out
there that are good.
I personally like CST because I have had better response from
their customer support team. I also like the fact that I can get
time-domain and frequency-domain using the same interface.
There is a link to ADS which I find convenient. Otherwise, I
find the two nearly equal in performance and usability.

  Hi,

I believe many of you SI guys faced the same choice and made your
  call.
I would really appreciate if you can share your experience on these
  two
very different yet both very capable full wave tools, specifically
  for
signal integrity application, i.e, broadband characterization of
  passive
interconnect in most cases. Which one you chose and why and are you
happy with your choice ? You can reply me on or off list.

  Thanks

  Perry
