could you please make it clear. I dont understand the question

do you meant 2 cards are sitting on the backplane with a capacitance for
crosstalk minimization in between?

kindly ellaborate.

regards
Hariharan

Subject: [SI-LIST] Better choice for AC coupling

Hi.all
we often use AC coupling circuit for differential signal especially
different level type.

Now I'm designing a system interface as following:
driver card-------backplane---------receiver card

No doubt ,we need at least one capacitor series in the path to realize
interconnect.
Some vendor also recommend using two capacitors as following:

driver card----||---backplane-----||----receiver card

which is better to use one or two capacitors?
What's the priority for each case?

for above system ,when use one capacitor, where is better to place?

By the way,The simulation result at receiver card is no difference when we
place one or two capacitor series in the circuit.

Thanks.
