LOCATION:  Austin, TX
POSITION:  Signal Integrity Engineer


JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position involves signal integrity simulations on high speed data busses
including DDR memory and HyperTransport including silicon, package and
board. A key responsibility of this position will be to work closely with
the customer support organization and to support customers with signal
integrity issues.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

.Strong background in high speed bus simulations such as DDR, HT,
PCI-Express, etc. 

.Strong background in high speed PCB design issues.

.In depth knowledge of I/O buffer modeling, specifically behavioral
(IBIS-like) modeling for high speed digital Logic.

.General knowledge of analog simulation with Hspice and/or Quad-XTK. 

.UNIX/Windows operating systems. 

.Must be a self-starter and be able to work with little direct supervision. 

.Excellent interpersonal communications and writing skills. 

.Experience with low-voltage swing signaling technologies and knowledge of
timing analysis are a plus. 

.Knowledge of microwave engineering is a plus. 

.The candidate will have a BS-EE or MS-EE with 5 or more years of industry
experience in high speed digital bus simulations and high speed board level
design.
