Bill, The fieldsolvers used are the MIT FastHenry and FastCap. These have been around for about 10 years and are often used as benchmarks in the academic community. The downside is that there is now automation for creating 3D models like you get with commercial solvers. If you don't mind using text entry, free is a very good price. regards, scott Bill Dempsey wrote: >I just stumbled across this site: http://www.fastfieldsolvers.com/ > >Anyone had a chance to evaluate this field solver yet? > >Bill > > >------------------------------------------------------------------ >To unsubscribe from si-list: >si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field > >or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: >//www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list > >For help: >si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field > >List archives are viewable at: > //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list >or at our remote archives: > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages >Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: > http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu > > > > > > > -- Scott McMorrow Principal Engineer SiQual Interconnect Engineering 18735 SW Boones Ferry Road Tualatin, OR 97062-3090 (503) 239-4400 http://www.siqual.com -- Scott McMorrow Principal Engineer SiQual Interconnect Engineering 18735 SW Boones Ferry Road Tualatin, OR 97062-3090 (503) 239-4400 http://www.siqual.com ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
