Kevin, That sounds kind of brutal don't you think? I think if someone excels in all the other areas and needs is not that proficient with test equipment it would be much cheaper for the company to just train the person using the high speed scopes. I cant say that I would want to work for a company that would let me go just because I needed some training.=20 Btw, I always love it when recruiters post on this list. I thought there was a rule against that.=20 Leonard.=20 -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kevin Pierpoint Sent: Thursday, December 14, 2006 7:16 PM To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SI-LIST] 3 month project in Milpitas, CA (ONSITE) I have another one for you guys: =20 I have a client who needs someone for the next 3 months (plus or minus). Looking for a solid HW guy (say 25% design and 75 % test).....all board/systems level. Mainly digital. The hard part about this one is that they really want a storage background (ex: SAS/ATA), and PCI-Express would be nice as well. They had a guy doing this earlier who was a pure designer...they let him go because when he got into the lab, he was not able to come up to speed on the equipment they are using (very high speed scopes/analyzers).=20 =20 If qualified, available and local to the bay area.....please contact me (see below).
