Person should have at least 10 years experience in high speed signal
integrity and transmission line circuit design - 10Gb/s domain. The person
would be required to run H-spice analysis of and complete loss link budget
on new connectors, backplane and test vehicles and be able to adjust models
to match empirical test data. Deliverables would be: 

1 Link Budget 
1.1 Assemble and Review System Technical Data 
1.2 Develop preliminary system end-to-end Link Budget 
1.3 Allocate Line Card performance budget 
1.4 Allocate Backplane Card performance budget 
2 Test Plan 
2.1 Test Plan for Backplane quantitative measurements 
2.2 Test Plan for Line Card quantitative measurements 
2.3 Test Plan for System quantitative measurements 
3 Analysis of Test Data 
3.1 Summarize Test Data 
3.2 Comparison with Link Budget 
3.3 Root Cause Analysis of performance issues 
4 Application Guidelines and Recommendations for Improvements 
4.1 Development of limits to wiring density and number of discontinuities 
4.2 Constraints on driver-receiver characteristics 
4.3 Up-dated Link Budget and Application Guidelines 
5 On-going Support and Liason 
5.1 Attend meetings with vendors 
5.2 Attend meetings with potential customers
