First litter(after I went solo) I used Ft. Dodge 7 Way(w/Lepto) Nemex as a
wormer. Second litter I used Progard 5(w/out Lepto) at 5 weeks, at 7 weeks and
every 2 weeks till sold I used Progard 7 (w/Lepto)and Nemex as a wormer on the
off weeks. The vaccine of choice is controversial but I always recommend
staying away from the ones sold by Farm Supply stores(TSC etc.)not always a
long expiration date. I also keep a bottle of epinephrine on hand in case of
anaphalyctic shock never had any problems in 35 years but it only takes once.

Just wondering:
What does everyone use who gives their own puppy shots, what brand and what
combination do you use? Also what wormers do you start off with and when. Do
you let the vet give one of the shots so he can check them over before they are
sold? Is your first shot at 6 weeks or 7???? I kn ow I know sooo many
questions! : )
