Hi all, We're over 4000....Somebody asked me why I am asking people to sign
this petition, inasmuch as there is little heed paid to on-line epetitions.
(no verification, etc.). I think that while this may be true for petitions
such as some that I saw there, and may EVEN be true for this one, (although I
hope not :-(...it also is a great way to make people aware and have continued
interest in this very serious situation. I don't know if any of you have had
time to read some of the comments, but some are very much in depth and
knowledgeable. Some passionate and pleading. Even some in which I have
picked up
points that I hadn't thought of! And most ALSO write their legislators.
Please, Congress goes into session in a little over a week. That means the
sub-committees and committees are also back in work. It takes a couple of
weeks for your letters to go through security checks, so Back to the Printer!
Fax, Phone, Write all the members on the committees and your own
representative and senators!!!! This is sooooo important. If anybody
doesn't have all
the addresses for the Committes, please let me know. Thank you
