Worst phishing menace may be prepping more dangerous version of itself

The single most active group for stealing identities and pilfering
electronic
bank accounts over the Internet has nearly ground to a halt, but the  
lull
could
be the precursor to an even worse crime spree, according to a new study.

Do NOT store your bank and other important, serious passwords on your  
hard drive (anywhere on your computer)

Everyone needs to update their anti spam software

Run more than one Antivirus software programs

Check your spam folders often for "strange" emails/address

Do not open links or attachments unless you know VERY well that they  
are safe.  Being told ahead of time that an attachment is coming is  
good, but I don't do that and I know most people don't.

Many of us were hit by a pfishing worm in the last few weeks, watch to  
see that it doesn't escalate into other's address books.  YOU are  
infecting your friends!!!

So far, I'm SO glad I only own a Mac :-)
