I think I've mentioned that I've always had bitches....sweet happy girls that
had sweet happy litters? Well, learning about stud dogs is a WHOLE different
world. Got a call today, We want your male (see, no advertising lol), the
bitch ovulated TODAY and we need the chilled semen by tomorrow, then next day
at
the latest! Hawaii, no less!
Well, Hawaii wasn't going to happen THIS time, (6 months in the future now),
but what an interesting and different experience this is turning out to be.
Going to meet the collection vet this week, learning how to do all this. See,
even after 12 years in the breed, finishing dogs, having great litters, and
still, we are but babes in the woods.
