Think about all of the purebred GSDs in the world and consider what a small percentage of them are related to the "show" bloodlines. The vast majority are not. Although there are other breeders, but the majority of the GSDs that compete in any area are from the conformation breeders. There are exceptions, but most of them come from show breedings. Evan L.
