Evan, much as we, the show folk, would like to believe that, we are way
too small a percentage of GSD breeders to make more than a timy impact on the
breed overall. Think about all of the purebred GSDs in the world and
consider what a small percentage of them are related to the "show" bloodlines.
The vast majority are not.
Although there are other breeders, but the majority of the GSDs that
compete in any area are from the conformation breeders. There are exceptions,
but most of them come from show breedings.
