I'd suggest contacting the airline and letting them know the location and
date of the National and that there are a lot of passengers with dogs
already booked for those dates. I'm guessing they'll make an exception
for a specific event, rather than lose that many fares.

Maybe all the dogs need to be disguised as therapy dogs. I think
they're going to make exceptions for them, as they will for Seeing Eye
dogs. Either that or everyone's going to be buying guide dog
harnesses..........then at least one dog per person can make the trip
home.
