It is not a requirement. I was on the board when the requirements were
made. Bill is not a CPA, and neither was Tom Sherman, before him. It requires
accounting experience. Nothing more.
I felt a willingness to serve, dedication to the club, and average
intelligence were enough. I was outvoted. I disagreed that we should limit
those who
want to work for the GSDCA. I think some people who were not involved in
accounting did a great job, and being qualified is never going to outdo
honesty
and dedication.
