Further to the last - all my dogs now get mega lactobacillus acidophilus
with bifidobacterium bifidum....after the onset I give double doses 3Xd for
the
first few days. Have always given my guys yogurt in their food, raw turkey
in the mornings. From what I have read the toxoid vaccine on dogs is
inconclusive as to prevention. It would be a god send if it worked.
Have recently started a few dogs on collostrum to help immune system since
our shepherds seem to become immuno suppressed so easily. will see if it
helps.
