Despite the reputation that soy has, (for protein, soy milk for
lactose-intolerant, etc.) it is not the cure-all for everyone -- for me, I have
a mild
allergy to it. It wreaks havoc with my intestinal tract so I really try to
avoid
it. I DO indulge in Chinese food every once in a while, and it doesn't kill
me, but I pay a price.

I wouldn't entirely rule out ANY possible link, no matter how "off the wall"
it may seem.

I had an epileptic dog that was the most prone to having severe attacks of
cluster seizures within ten days (plus or minus) of both the spring and fall
equinox. Yet none of the other "suspect" things -- (being intact, etc.) ever
seemed to affect his seizure pattern.
