store when she was a child with HER mother to pick out the flour sacks with the
prettiest patterns for night gowns and undies LOL Thats back when flour came in
fifty pound cloth bags. Actually they were quite pretty flower prints. I have a
couple of those bags left in my Grandmother's cedar chest.

I can remember the "ride in my car fee" for my older Brother and Sister was to
pump their gas whenever they needed it. If the gas was more than 1.00, they
would make me take the difference out of my allowance! HA HA!!! I learned
quickly to watch for whatever station was below 1.00. That would have been late
80's early 90's.
I also have some glass dishes and things from my Great Grandmother. I remember
hearing something about how she would save something from soap.... and then
send them in to get things. Is that the S&H stamps you all are talking about?
