I realize that this is a breeder friendly shelter, Kathy, and that GSD
people are involved, and they're doing their best. It's just that I know
that if I fill out their application the info I give them will very likely
mean that they give me a nice friendly smile and thank me for my interest,
and put my application in the HECK NO pile. That's all I'm saying.

This is a standard form for this shelter.  They are not targeting us GSD
people.

In fact quite the opposite, they are trying to get these dogs into the hands
of GSD 

people , FIRST.  Not a single dog has left the shelter yet, as they are
still 

handling applications etc.  They are not spaying /neutering them, as far as
I know.

They are tending to baths etc, and caring for any of the dogs that may need
some extra help.

This is a non prof small BREEDER FRIENDLY shelter.  It is in part run by one
of our own, 

who has nothing but the best interest of the GSDs, at heart.   Personally I
have NO problem with 

the adoption form.   They can ask me anything they want, and I will provide
the info, happily.

I am glad they are being careful.    This is a good group of people.  They
are doing everything they can.

The shelter is NOT adopting out dogs to just anyone..they want GSD people,
first , if possible The dogs all exhibit excellent temperament and character
and all are doing well.  This is a non prof , shelter...NO KILL... they
could use some help , not only monetarily, but in getting dogs to real dog
people,  esp GSD  people. DONATIONS FOR CARE SINCERELY APPRECIATED. If you
would like to adopt (there are mostly bitches) please contact the shelter,
