This is a shelter that cares about the placement of their dogs wish there were 
more like this one.
Do the reputable breeders not require a contact when they sell a dog?  I see no 
difference
in them asking these questions which is the same that are on many contracts a 
person signs with a breeder.
How are breeders or shelters going to know what kind of home the dog will get
if they don't ask questions?

 I am glad they are being careful.    This is a
 good group of people.  They
 are doing everything they can.
