There was a good article in the Review a month or so back. That itself is
enough to join the Parent Club, and get the Review. It talked about
treatment, and also outlined the dangers of breeding without the DM test. We
would
not breed without it.
It also talked about how often DM is misdiagnosed and how seldom it shows
up in young dogs. In the past the diagnosis was made when nothing else was
found to explain the problems. That may well be still being done.
